Dr. Sherwin Shinn - President
My name is Dr. Sherwin Shinn and I established For World Wide Smiles to alleviate suffering from dental disease and facilitate disease prevention, education and practice. This was is in response to my personal experience in Nepal in 1990 where I witnessed that children were dying every day from infections due to abscessed teeth. Local people had no idea what caused this condition, how to prevent it and how to treat it. Even the hospitals didn't have access to the necessary basic treatment equipment and instruments, nor the expertise to treat emergencies and prevent ongoing problems. Len Kooistra - Board Member
Len Kooistra - Len is a sales representative for Achilles, USA in Everett, Washington. He has had the opportunity to travel to China, Japan, Hong Kong and many areas of the United States. In his off time he enjoys motorcycle riding, golf, water sports and home improvement projects. He understands the trials and turmoil of under developed countries and is excited to be working with For World Wide Smiles to help the people who are in such need of care and support
Paula Kooistra - Board Member
Paula Kooistra - Paula was born and raised in Washington State and now make her home in Stanwood, Washington. She has been in the dental field for 30 years and now manages a dental practice in Mill Creek. She started traveling and volunteering in Uganda in 2007 and looks forward to her yearly return. Paula is very excited to be involved with For World Wide Smiles as it is her passion to help those who are in need.

Daniel Nyalusi - Board Member
He was born in 1979, Lushoto-Tanga, Tanzania and grown up in the slamdog streets of the business city of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, he attended primary school, secondary and High School in Dar es Salaam. Since education is the most important thing to his life, Daniel enrolled at Institute of Finance Management and graduated in Information Technology (IT). He worked with several companies while attended different film training workshops and master classes since 2004 at different festivals and short courses at Zanzibar International Film Festival, One Minutes Foundation, Tanzania Screenwriters, Durban International Film Festival, Berlinale Talent Campus etc.
In 2010 Daniel made a big step after open his own company Dean Space Entertainment and is expecting to do much more in future.
